working with layers and text effects

Hi Guys, Windows 10 running Qcad Version 3.21.3.0 (3.21.3)

Is there a way to move entities to different layers, and adjust those layer properties after moving stuff to it?

Additionally, when working with text, is there any way to centre the text horizontally (so that the centre of each word or phrase is above the centre of the next line down), and also to curve text around the periphery of a circle?

Hi Les,

Yes. Select the entities and use the Property Manager to move to a different existing layer …

… or create a new layer.

QCAD has an “Align” tool below Menu/Modify and a “Text along entity” tool below Menu/Misc/Draw
