I bought qcad June 2019. I recently got a new computer, and I want to install qcad on a new computer. I clicked the download link in the order history and it says the link is expired. How do I get a second copy of qcad for my new computer with the discount please?

Once you have a licensed QCAD Pro installed, it is personal and forever.
The general advice is to preserve your installation files in a safe place.

You should have received a discount code after about a year and you can also find that it in the personal download area.

Thank you for the response but I do not have access to a downloads area hence the post, I was under the impression that I can buy an upgrade and get 30% discount with a code. This process sounds very confusing indee are you saying that I now need to purchase another copy at the full price ?
Sorry to labour on about thi s but the site seems to contradict itself in one place it states:
Updating a License
If your access to the download area has expired, you can renew your QCAD Professional or QCAD/CAM license to keep accessing new versions of the software (and optionally e-books). To buy an update, you can simply purchase a new QCAD Professional or QCAD/CAM license and receive a 30% update discount. You can find a discount coupon code in your download area (see above). You will also receive an e-mail with a discount coupon code a few days before your access to updates expires.
And at a later stage it states:
Unfortunately, we cannot provide any kind of assistance for purchases from more than 3 years ago.
So could somebody please clarify what I need to do to obtain the latest copy onto my new machine and do I get a discount or not as I do not appear to have a copy of the reminder email.
