[solved] ver.3.27.6 Problems Import Files PDF

I believe that the import of “PDF” files is a recent feature of QCAD.
I have been using qcad for less than a year and I don’t have a great experience.
I can’t import pdf files. Both by invoking CTRL+Shift+I and from File Menu → Import I am asked to choose the file (and I already agree that the pdf files are not included among those considered importable); However, if I choose a vector pdf file (for example a pdf file generated by a QCAD drawing which is therefore vector), an import error is generated

Qcad Professional

Version: 3.27.6.0 (3.27.6)

Qt version: 5.13.2
Architecture: x86_64

OS Win10

I can confirm this issue. Thanks for reporting it!

Error Message on Win 10/64
Command: import
Error while importing file C:/Users/… test.pdf

Command: open
Opening drawing: C:/Users/… test.pdf
Cannot open file C:/Users/… test.pdf’.
No suitable Importer found. Please check file format and extension.

I’ll file a bug report. Bugs like this are usually fixed for the next update. If you need to import pdf’s immediately please use a previous QCAD version. Thanks.

Bug report:

Please re-download and re-install the 3.27.6 package for Windows 64bit. This was a deployment issue (missing DLL).
