Scaling title block to drawing

I am using QCadPro ver 3.12 on MacOS.

I want to scale a title block(one of the A4 metric title blocks in the library) and drawing to fit together onto a page.

For example if I draw an isometric drawing of a 10mm cube and I want to print it on an A4 page inside a title block, how to I scale the drawing up (or title block down) so that the drawing files most of the title block area (say a 1:10 scale)?

This must be simple and obvious but I can not work it out…

Thanks in advance!
William

Hi William - welcome to the forum!

You are right - it’s simple.

Your drawing stays 1:1 - just the title block and the frame needs to be scaled.

If you like to print it with a 1:10 scale you need to scale the title block (+drawing frame?) 10 times bigger …

Select your title block / drawing frame and use the “Modify/Scale tool”. Value x/y 10. The scale reference for the selection should be absolute 0 (the red cross in your drawing).

Done!

If you experience any trouble with your particular drawing please post that drawing or an example drawing to this forum thread. It’s then just easier to help you.

Thanks Husky.

I have no idea why I didn’t think of that. Many thanks for the removal of that headache.
