Qt6 versus Qt5 on my machine

Downloaded package (file name): qcad-3.32.9-trial-win64-qt6.zip
Operating System: Windows 11

I checked out the new version today. To my surprise, the curves and numbers looked jagged. With help from ChatGPT, I found the problem was Qt6 on my machine. Here is what ChatGPT suggested for my post:

On Windows 11 using a Microsoft Surface Go 2 (Intel UHD Graphics), QCAD 3.32.9 built with Qt6 displays noticeably jagged, non-antialiased lines, curves, and drawing text. The Qt5 build of the same QCAD version displays the identical drawing correctly with smooth antialiasing. No other changes were made between the two tests.

Thanks for your feedback.

I wasn’t able to reproduce this here, not even with the display scaling of 150% which Surface laptops usually use by default. We’ll wait and see if other users report that problem with Microsoft Surface before trying to fix this.
