I have been trying to install QCAD-3.15.4-linux-x86_64 on Fedora 24. All of the correct messages come up in the terminal but nothing happens. The necessary directories are not created. This is a completely new install of Fedora 24 and not an upgrade
Because of this problem and my need to have an active version of QCAD, I installed qcad-3.10.0-linux-x86_64 which I had from when i ran it under Fedora 23. It created the necessary directories and installed fine.

If this is not the case, please download the file again and check its checksum which should be:
If you cannot get the installer to work, you might want to download the file qcad-3.15.4-pro-linux-x86_64.tar.gz instead, which you can simply extract in any desired location and run QCAD from there (the file to launch QCAD is called “qcad”).
