That can indeed be a problem. 
I can understand that the option Lead In/Out is not stored persistent between usage for new Profiles, between QCAD sessions.
But it should be updated for an existent Profile.
The thing is that the same dialog is used for both purposes.
For creation and for displaying and/or updating
It is still possible that parameters are stored as custom properties for the Profile.
Because they are required for auto - regeneration on export.
