Hi, my name is Brian from Wisconsin.

I plan to use QCAD for woodworking and remodeling projects around the house. I am a pretty basic CAD user, but so far have found QCAD to be very intuitive and I really like the clean and well organized interface. I have used TurboCAD Deluxe in the past for making 2D drawings, but always found myself accidentally in 3D mode and struggling to get out. :laughing:

Welcome Brian, I too am in WI. Have been using Qcad for 2D around the shop and have found it very nice to use after a short familiarization. Ran Auto Cad for 15 years up until retirement so it was a pretty good transition.
