I’m a retired software guy doing volunteer work for the Mountain to Sea Trail (MST). The MST builds and maintains hiking trails. One of our trail components are bridges. I’m going to be doing bridge specifications that will direct volunteer groups on what to construct. For this I’m going to have to learn enough about drafting to do that kind of structural drawing. I have others who can advise on the engineering. I’ve chosen QCAD to be my tool. I’m still looking for a text book and online course on Drafting for Dummies
I’ve been going through the QCAD book and online reference which has taught me a lot but also left me with a lot of questions. I’m hoping people on this forum can help me with those.
Hello DaleEltoft,
thanks you for introducing yourself and welcome to the QCAD forum.
Nice to see NC here. I grew up in Kenly NC, east of Raleigh.
