Creating Polylines from Lines and Arcs

From a QCAD user:

How can I turn individual lines / arcs into one single polyline?

You can automatically create a polyline from connected segments using the context menu:

  • right-click on a segment, choose “Auto Create Polyline”

You can extend an existing polyline on both ends with the loose entities that connect to it:

  • right-click on a segment, choose “Auto Extend Polyline”

To create a polyline from loose lines / arcs, you can also use the tool:

Draw > Polyline > Polyline from Segments

Or, to create a polyline or multiple poylines from all selected entities:

Draw > Polyline > Polyline from Selection
