Colourful tool/ribbon/panel icons

QCAD Version: 3.?.? — 27.0.3
Downloaded package (file name): qcad-…
Operating System: Win 11

I have attached my drawing file (DXF/DWG)

Where have the nice colourful tool/ribbon/panel icons disappeared to? Many people, such as myself, use these as visual reference… I can’t see how to change them… ???

Thanks

I proceed like this:

This is what I expect to happen:

This is what happens instead:

You can switch to a Theme other than “Default” if you prefer a different look and the classic icons / UI:

Edit > Application Preferences > Themes

Um… yeah, but I want a light theme with colourful icons (sorta like what was before… all I see are weird colour themes with colour icons, not a light theme with colour icons… I tried them all…

You can also delete the plugin qcadmodern.dll in your plugins directory to revert to the classic style.

Beautiful… thank you. I looked for that in documentation… but, nevertheless… thank you. :+1:

Note that this is not an official feature and therefore not documented or recommended. This might or might not work in future versions of QCAD. The new look is also what we are using going forward for all documentation, tutorials, etc.
