Three pre-purchase questions about e book & paperback.

PRE-SALES QUESTIONS regarding the BOOK: QCAD: An Introduction to Computer-Aided Design by Andrew Mustun.

QUESTION 1. I know that your software is sometimes updated. When changes are made to QCAD Professional, is the e-book version of the book listed above also updated to incorporate those software changes, or does the e-book remain identical to the original paperback version, which Amazon shows as having been published in 2008?

I can think of advantages either way and would be inclined to purchase both. I’d just like to know what to expect.

QUESTION 2. I am also interested in buying a FLASH DRIVE with the e-book downloaded onto it at the same time as I purchase the direct download of the e-book onto my laptop.

Regarding the flash drive, your ONLINE SHOP page says, “You can order this product together with a downloadable product OF YOUR CHOICE…” so my question is CAN AND WILL YOU DOWNLOAD THE E BOOK CONTENTS ONTO A FLASH DRIVE if that is what I want to purchase along with the regular e book download to my computer?

QUESTION 3. I understand that shipping for the flash drives is free, but HOW MUCH will I have to pay for SHIPPING the PAPERBACK BOOK to me? I live in the U.S.A. (Central Alabama). Thank you.

  1. An Introduction to Computer-Aided Design
It is thus an introduction to CAD in general with references to the QCAD tools.

No, it is not updated with the ongoing enhancements to QCAD.
And it doesn’t address every QCAD tool or method.
Basic CAD techniques don’t change.
The QCAD Reference Manual is kept up to date as that is QCAD specific.

  1. It will be most probably included.
I should leave that to Andrew to answer in detail, same for the last question.

Quite sure that you can buy the book locally.
It is even present in my local library to rent.
