Having access to plain text paste (CTRL-V).

It’s on my wishlist too, but after reading Andrew’s replies … I don’t think it will get any traction.
I did some investigation on the right-click context menu entries.
For the moment it seems I can’t be of any leverage.

Ok ok then. Well maybe more people will vote it up.
I will say that the keybinding conflict is real – but in a different way than noted. CTRL-SHIFT-V
is absolutely embedded in my fingertips from other programs. I’m pressing that key combination regardless.
It’s best if it NOT have an incompatible meaning in Qcad
