The snap to intersection manual tool does not provide mouse status information for itself but rather still displays the mouse status information of the drawing or modification tool you were using when starting the snap tool.
This is deliberately so, that the mouse status still shows what point you are about to define (e.g. first or next point of a line you are drawing, etc.).
